Digital Imaging - LA4

Here are my 4 examples of resizing images.

The first is a butterfly and a bee on a Buddleia bush in Harvey WA.  At the time I wasn't worried about anything but catching the butterfly still sitting on the flower head.  Cropping the image removes all the blurred background and focuses entirely on the mauve flower head.

The second example is of a rose in my front garden.  The original photo shows the bruising caused by the rain, even though they eye is drawn to the centre of the rose.  The cropped image focuses entirely on the centre of the rose.

The 3rd example is Danielle and Sunny.  The background isn't very pleasing to the eye so when the image is cropped, it certainly improves the shot.

My last example is a beautiful garden on the outskirts of Ulverstone. While the garden looks lush and green, everywhere else is brown!  To retain the feeling of  a cool green garden, I cropped the image.
